The largest indication of insulation problem is the easiest to spot. It’s simply a complete and total lack of insulation. Check your attic, if you see dramatically uneven distribution, compacted, or deteriorating insulation, or the space is complete bear it’s time to upgrade.
The next time you pull into the driveway, take a look at your roof. If you see moss growth, black streaking, or a lack of snow pack after a heavy winter snow this could be evidence of an insulation problem and costly energy loss.
